Ovvy at WCG 2006

It was the 20th of May and I was celebrating our unsuspended president Traian Basescu when all the sudden, I get this message with a link from my fellow moviemaker and friend from AirWalk Media, Basty that says: Ovvy @ WCG 2006. I remembered that Ovvy made a great tournament that year in Italy so my interest just popped up.
So after a short download (do not assume that my internet connection is great, I just define short download by one hour download) I opened the movie and got my first impression on the movie, a very good impression actually. It all starts with a great intro, in which you can see some great footage from WCG Italy 2006, with a lot of people gathered for the FIFA competition. The pace is really amazing with simple texts and great sync, it could be a matter of taste but I think it's very nice. You get some info about the games Ovvy (representing Romania) played during the tournament and then the grand final is presented, Ovvy versus Hero, Romania versus Germany, this is the climax of the whole tournament and so the intro ends with a picture of the two finalists.
The final is then presented in detail with every goal, all the nice actions and in parallel the reactions of both Hero and Ovvy, really great atmosphere created here by Basty. The quality of the FIFA clips is rather poor, but you don't have difficulties in understanding what's going on. Basty also added some effects on the clips and some slow-motion that make the movie even better. Great work with the FIFA clips. What also impressed me was the great atmosphere the Romanian and the German fans created in the crowd, really great footage, that's all I can say right now. Further more, Basty included some live commentary from the last seconds of the final, in which ... well actually, I'm gonna let you watch the movie to see who won or what else happened, anyway this was for sure one of the most interesting FIFA tournaments ever.
To sum it all up, I find this movie very entertaining and well edited and I'm waiting for more movies of this type from Basty. I really recommend this movie to all you FIFA fans/players and also to all you guys out there that want to see something different, being bored of all the s(x)(x)t that the cs moviemaking scene released lately.

As much I don't like the FIFA game ( I HATE IT :D) this movie really impressed me.
It all starts right from the intro when Basty moves this fifa movie to a whole other level. You enter in suspense as soon as you see the place where the game played and you want to know what happened there. After this you see a crowd of people who seems like they are disappointed and then you see Ovvy (OUR PLAYER FROM ROMANIA) who is happy (I’m very sure that those people are Hero's men :D). Really nice footage.
After this you get a short review about the situation from the beginning and about Ovvy's winning. Really impressive, Ovvy's the only one who won 11 games. Let's not forget about the sync Basty made on text, really incredible.
And there we have it, THE 1ST PART. After the first goal Ovvy made, Hero seems like he was dying, he had a strange face, but it was so cool to see him suffering >:). No.. let me be serious, really nice gameplay those 2 players made, incredible playing. Like I said in the beginning, I don't like FIFA but this game match impressed me. And the sync captivates you with every beat.
Another thing that Basty made very nice was the parallel images, every goal/phase and than some images with players reactions and public reactions.
Basty added some nice effects on the movie, which makes the movie look really, really nice.
In the final phases of the game he added a caption of the commentary from the final minutes of the game that gave you the possibility to understand the pressure of the last sequences of the game.
Anyway... beautiful game, beautiful goals/phases, beautiful editing, beautiful atmosphere who gives this award in my opinion: best fifa movie ever made.
