In the ESL Intel Arena at Games Convention 2006 in Leipzig, Germany, the Intel Core 2 Extreme Masters
have been officially launched. Three of the world's best Counter-Strike teams came to Germany,
in order to determine the first team that qualifies for this new spectacular tournament. SK,
NiP and fnatic fought for a ticket to represent Sweden at the main event, that
will have a total prizesum of over $200,000. Counted as having the least chances for the win,
SK-Gaming managed to beat both fnatic and NiP to place first in this
mini-tournament. Below you can find the results of the three matches that have been played.
